We’re thrilled to share that MyEdSpace, the live learning platform streaming the UK’s best teachers into thousands of homes, has raised $15M (£11.9M) in a Series A led by White Star Capital, with participation from Educapital, Active Partners, Coalition Capital – and us. MyEdSpace has been part of the Emerge community since we backed Kharis and Sean at seed in 2023, and we’re delighted to go again.
Two years ago the pitch sounded intriguing: put the country’s most watchable teachers on a livestream, charge a fraction of what a tutor costs, and let quality do the marketing. This summer delivered the verdict. Over half of MyEdSpace’s GCSE maths students achieved grades 7-9 in 2025 – more than triple the national average – and more than 16,000 students have now learned on the platform since its 2022 launch.
The US is next, with the company’s first US mathematics course launching in October. And the founders’ long-term goal hasn’t moved an inch since our first call: free access for every UK child on free school meals. “Our model makes learning affordable and ends the postcode lottery of achievement,” as Sean puts it.

MyEdSpace is the closest thing to it I’ve seen – kids logging on early to a maths lesson because the teacher is that good.
